Because every response in an S&W mock is marked by an AI examiner against the official rubric, and that costs us real money per paper. L&R is scored instantly against an answer key. We'd rather price that honestly than quietly charge L&R users for it.

With S&W, yes — every practice answer comes back with a band per criterion, in the moment you submit. Practice you cannot measure is guesswork, and self-marking against a rubric is exactly the thing a learner at the start cannot do. Without S&W, your answer is still stored and still reveals the model answer and the official rubric to mark yourself against. Practice marking has its own monthly allowance of 150 tasks, separate from the 8 mocks, because one mock is 19 graded tasks and one practice answer is one.

Work back from your test date. Sitting the exam in a fortnight? Take weekly — it's the least you can spend. Beyond a month, weekly stops making sense: on Complete, monthly saves you $14.97 against four weekly payments, and 3 months saves $59.89 against twelve. Most people preparing properly need 6–12 weeks, which makes the 3-month plan the cheapest way through by a wide margin.

You'll see a heads-up well before you get there, and you can keep sitting full S&W mocks — they just queue for marking at the start of your next period. Nothing is ever cut off mid-test.
