The rules of using TOEIC.ai, in language you can actually check. Using the site or creating an account means you accept them. If you don't, the honest answer is not to use it.

1. What the Service Is
TOEIC.ai, operated by Inverse AI, is a practice platform for the TOEIC Listening & Reading test. It gives you a bank of exam-style questions written by our team, timed practice in the real 200-question format, accuracy figures for each of the seven parts, and a study plan built around a test date you supply.
It is preparation, not the test. We don't register you for the TOEIC, we don't administer it, we don't score it officially, and we can't influence anything ETS or its regional partners do. If your question is about a booking, a test date or a score report, we're the wrong people to ask.
2. Your Account
- Give us an email address you actually control. It's how we reset your password and how we verify who you are if you ask us to delete your data.
- One account per person. Not one per class, not one per office.
- Your credentials are yours to protect. Anything done under your login is treated as done by you, so if you think someone else has got in, change the password and tell us through the contact page.
- You must be at least 13 to hold an account. In the EU, if you're under 16 you need a parent or guardian's consent before signing up.
3. Acceptable Use
Our practice questions took real work to write, and they are the only asset we have. So:
- No scraping. Don't use crawlers, scripts, headless browsers or extensions to extract questions, answers or audio in bulk.
- No redistribution. Don't republish our questions in a PDF, a Quizlet deck, a YouTube video, a Telegram group, a paid course or a competing app, whether or not you charge for it.
- No automated bulk access. Don't hammer the API or the site with automated requests. Practice as a person practices.
- No account sharing. Don't hand your login to a group, a class or a study circle, and don't resell access.
- Nothing that breaks the service. No attempts to bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities without asking us first, upload malware, or interfere with other users.
Found a security hole? Tell us before you tell anyone else and we'll work with you. That's the one form of poking around we welcome.
4. Who Owns What
Our Material
All 6,787 Listening & Reading practice questions, the Speaking & Writing tasks and rubrics, the audio, the answer keys, the guides on this site, the scoring logic and the design are our copyright, owned by Inverse AI or licensed to us. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use them to prepare for the TOEIC. You don't get a right to copy, resell, sublicense or build a derivative product from them.
Your Material
Your answers, notes, bookmarks and results are yours. We hold them to run the service, as described in the privacy policy, and you can export or delete them.
The TOEIC Trademark
TOEIC® and Test of English for International Communication® are registered trademarks of Educational Testing Service. We make no claim to those marks. TOEIC.ai is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to ETS. We use the name only to describe, accurately, which test our material prepares you for. Our questions are written by our team in the published ETS style; they are not retired official papers, which ETS alone publishes. We don't reproduce ETS logos or brand assets anywhere.
5. Practice Scores Are Estimates
This section matters more than the rest, so it's short and blunt.
A score produced by TOEIC.ai is an estimate. It is not an official TOEIC score. It does not come from ETS, and it cannot be used as proof of English proficiency to any employer, university, school, immigration authority or professional body. Only ETS issues scores that count for anything official.
The reason is mechanical, not modesty. ETS equates every test form against a conversion table it doesn't publish, so no third party can convert a raw score exactly, ours is a well-informed estimate and any competitor's is too. Two real forms can differ by twenty or thirty points at the same number of correct answers. What transfers reliably from our estimate is the shape of your performance: which parts are strong and which are weak. Treat the total as a range.
6. No Guaranteed Improvement
We don't promise you a particular score, a particular gain, or that you'll clear whatever threshold your school or employer has set. Nobody honestly can, outcomes depend on where you start, how much you practice, and what happens on the day. Any figure on this site about typical preparation time is an observation about test-takers in general, not a commitment to you.
7. Paid Plans and Billing
The plans, prices and billing periods set out on the pricing page are the terms of any paid subscription. Where a subscription is taken, payment is handled by Stripe: card details go to Stripe directly and never pass through our servers. Nothing is ever charged without you completing a checkout, and a large part of the product — all practice, the Study Center, study plans, model answers, unlimited timed Listening & Reading papers and four marked mock tests — stays free with no card on file.
Where a subscription is active, it renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for. Switching plan is prorated, so you pay only the difference for the remainder of the current period. Prices are in USD and tax is added at checkout where applicable. If a payment fails, access continues through the retry window before the subscription lapses. Where this page and the pricing page disagree, tell us through the contact page and we will fix whichever is wrong.
8. Availability and Changes to the Service
We aim to keep the site up and we don't offer an uptime guarantee. Things break, and when they do we say so. We list current gaps and limits openly on the pricing and about pages rather than in a footnote here.
Features may be added, changed or withdrawn. Where a change would take away something you rely on, we'll give notice rather than removing it overnight. Maintenance happens, occasionally without warning if something urgent needs fixing.
9. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, missed deadlines, or a result on the real test that disappointed you.
Where liability can't be excluded, it is capped at the greater of the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or the minimum the applicable law requires. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by any of this.
10. Suspension and Termination
You can close your account whenever you like, from your account settings or by asking us through the contact page. Deletion is permanent and takes your practice history with it.
We can suspend or close an account that breaches section 3, scraping, redistribution, bulk automated access, sharing or reselling access. For anything short of deliberate abuse we'll warn you first and explain what needs to stop. For outright commercial copying of our practice questions, we won't. Sections 4, 5, 9 and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing Law and Disputes (Not Yet Set)
The governing law and the forum for disputes are deliberately left blank here. Naming a jurisdiction is a legal decision with real consequences for both sides, particularly given that a large share of our users are consumers in the EU with non-waivable local protections, and it is not something to invent on a web page. Counsel will complete this clause, and it will be published here before it is relied on.
In the meantime: if you have a complaint, write to us. Most things get sorted in an email exchange.
12. Changes to These Terms
The date at the top changes when this page does. Material changes, anything affecting your rights, your data or your money, will be announced to account holders by email, not slipped in quietly. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new version; if you don't, close the account.
13. Getting in Touch
All of it goes through the contact page, including copyright and takedown notices. The privacy policy covers how we handle your data, and about explains who we are and what we haven't built yet.
